  • Anxiety Canada is a registered charity created to raise awareness about anxiety and support access to proven resources and treatment.

    By calling 811, you can access professional support for health, mental health, and addiction-related concerns. HealthLine 811 is available 24/7, free of charge, and confidential. It also offers translation in over 100 languages.

    How HealthLine 811 Works
    When you call 811, a licensed healthcare professional will provide you with guidance on mental health, or addiction-related questions. You’ll be able to discuss your situation in a safe and confidential way.

    HealthLine 811 offers support for mental health and addiction. Registered Psychiatric Nurses and Social Workers are available to provide crisis assistance, advice to help manage your situation, and connections to community resources.

    • BounceBack® is a free skill-building program. It is designed to help adults and youth 15+ manage low mood, depression, anxiety, stress or worry.

    • Delivered over the phone with a coach and through online videos, you will get access to tools that will support you on your path to mental wellness.

    Access Wellness

    • Access Wellness provides a single session of 1-to-1 counselling to help people dealing with mental health concerns

    Mental health and addictions services

    MindWell-U

    • MindWell-U is a free 30-day mindfulness challenge that helps lower stress and improve wellbeing. It takes 5 minutes a day.

    PSPNET

    • PSPNET is a free, confidential therapy program for first responders and others in the public safety field.

    Togetherall

    • Togetherall provides free, online mental health and wellbeing support. Support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

    Tranquility

    • Tranquility provides online coaching and skill development for people dealing with mild to moderate depression and anxiety.

    • The I CAN program supports young adults (18-30 years) in learning life skills to overcome anxiety and cope with major life stressors.

  • Government of Nunavut Mental Health Services - The Department of Health in Nunavut offers various outpatient and community-based services. These include counselling, substance use treatment, and trauma recovery programs, which are accessible through community health centres across Nunavut. Residential care is also available outside the territory for those needing more intensive support.

    Embrace Life Council - This organization focuses on suicide prevention and mental wellness for Nunavummiut. They provide resources, advocacy, and programs aimed at mental health awareness and support. Embrace Life works in partnership with the government to support both adults and children.

    Isaksimagit Inuusirmi Katujjiqatigiit (IIS) - This Inuit-led organization is known for its programs focusing on Inuit cultural approaches to healing, mental health, and wellness.
